This ex-designer fabric is a silk crepe de chine. It has the characteristic gentler crepe texture but is still very soft and has a slightly heavier weight than a typical crepe de chine. It's very drapey and has fantastic movement. Opaque with a wonderful silky handle! Would be perfect for dresses, skirts, or for a lovely button down blouse!
