Hand Embroidery with Adam Pritchett - 2nd April
DATE, TIME AND LOCATION
Sunday 2nd April, 11 am - 4.30 pm, London Fields London.
In this hand embroidery workshop you will learn a number of basic decorative embroidery stitches, and complete an illustrative embroidery of your choice to put your newly learnt skills to the test. Adam will provide a few exclusive designs to work from, or give you his top tips on designing your own motif. These will be the first two workshops that Adam has ever run and he will be making his way down from the Lake District to London for the weekend - we feel very privileged to host him!
Adam Pritchett is a self-taught embroidery artist based in the Lake District. His work focuses around plants & insects, with a particular fondness for spiders & flowers. This will be the first workshop he has ever taught, he's looking forward to sharing his intricate style of embroidery. To see more of his work, check him out on instagram @ajpritchett.
We will be supplying all of the materials for this class, just turn up on the day ready to stitch! We will be providing tea, coffee, snacks and sweet treats throughout the day and a goodie bag for you to take home.
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
Suitable for any skill level, from beginner to intermediate.
The workshop will take place in our canal-side office by London Fields, London, we will send you a map and address upon booking. It's about 15 minutes walk from Bethnal Green tube station, 5 minutes from London Fields overground station or 20 minutes from Liverpool Street station.
There will be a one hour lunch break during the day, you can bring along lunch to eat in the studio or we can give you some recommendations nearby. We are 1 minute from Broadway market which is packed with amazing places to eat and a food market on Saturdays.
