We're opening up our studio for a whole weekend of social sewing. What's better than sewing with friends, or coming along to meet new friends who sew? Bring along a project you're working on or want to get started on, enjoy breakfast on us both days and endless tea and biscuits! We'll have drinks at a local pub on the Saturday evening and prosecco at the end of Sunday. A perfect weekend of dedicated sewing me-time with some added treats along the way!
DATE, TIME AND LOCATION
10am-5:30pm Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th January 2020
6 Broadway Market Mews, London, E8 4TS
The weekend will take place in our shop behind Broadway Market. It's about 15 minutes walk from Bethnal Green tube station, 5 minutes from London Fields and Cambridge Heath Overground stations.
+ Use of our sewing machines: Pfaff Ambition 630 sewing machines, Pfaff Hobbylock 2.5 and Pfaff Coverlock 3.0
+ Use of all studio equipment: scissors, pins, irons, etc.
+ Breakfast both mornings
+ Prosecco Sunday afternoon
+ Optional trip to a local pub Saturday evening
+ Sewing fuel, aka endless tea and biscuits
+ Fabric and thread is available to buy throughout the weekend
This is not a class, and we'll likely be sewing our own projects, so you need to know how to use a sewing machine already.
If you're working on something large we recommend coming with your pieces already cut out as space may be limited.
Hannah's dog, Twigs, might be in the studio. She's very friendly and spends most of her time sleeping! If you'd rather she wasn't there please just let us know.
