This ex-designer fabric is a jacquard. It's a gridded mix of patterns in purple and persimmon orange-y red. Either side can be used, making it quite versatile. Has a lovely smooth handle. Lightweight with wonderful drape and light sheen finish. Has a workable structure. Ideal for a jacket or fancy dress!
