About Us

Studio + Shop

We are a designer deadstock fabric shop based in 32 Bocking Street, Hackney, East London. We run a wide range of sewing workshops in our studio room, have a look at our upcoming schedule here to book. All of the fabric we sell is deadstock, sourced directly from designers. This fabric is all leftover after they've finished creating their collections and would otherwise go to waste. We also stock deadstock haberdashery items from the same designers. In all of our classes we use PFAFF machines and sell the whole PFAFF machine range, you can shop those here. 

We are open Wednesday - Sunday from 10am - 5pm. You can also shop all of our fabrics and haberdashery online. 

Team

The New Craft House was founded by childhood friends Hannah and Rosie in 2013. We're proud to be female founded and a business that continues to be female owned and female led. We have a wonderful team who help us to keep everything running smoothly, these are some of the faces you'll see when you visit us at the shop!
