Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
At The New Craft House sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. By arming our customers with the knowledge and tools to sew a more sustainable handmade wardrobe, we're fighting against fast fashion culture and the environmental impact of it.
All of our fabric is deadstock sourced from local businesses and designers. Much of this surplus fabric would have been destined for landfill or in some cases burnt. You can shop our fabric knowing that you're helping to reduce waste in the fashion industry.
Hello! We are Hannah and Rosie and together we run The New Craft House. Friends since school, we’ve always been obsessed with crafting. After struggling to find fresh and exciting sewing products and workshops we set up The New Craft House in 2013.
We sell sustainably sourced fabric and run a range of sewing workshops from our studio on Broadway Market, East London.
We’d love to hear from you so comment, find us on instagram or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Italian Riviera Summer Party 2019
Our fifth party may have just been the best one yet. The theme was Italian Riviera and the outfits everyone made for it were incredible. Breezy dresses, 50’s inspired chic, nautical stripes, Italian designer reinventions and so much more. We took a hundred photos in front of our yellow fan wall, drank too much aperol and chatted all things sewing with some of our favourite people – what a brill night!
