PFAFF Machine Sales: Terms and Conditions


If in stock, your machine will be delivered Monday-Friday within 7 days of payment clearing. Your order will be processed and dispatched the same day where possible. If we do not have your machine in stock, as soon as you've ordered we will place the order with PFAFF, it will usually be with us within a week but there is a longer delay on some models. Please contact us on before ordering if you would like to check on any possible delays.

Guarantee and Warranty

New machines have a full extended PFAFF manufacturer’s warranty which is 5 years for mechanical parts and electrical parts and 2 years for labour. This only applies to machines delivered within the United Kingdom. The only exceptions are Overlock, Coverlock, Passport and Smarter models which have a PFAFF manufacture's warranty of 2 years for mechanical parts, electrical parts and labour. If the product develops a fault within the guarantee period which has been caused by defective materials or poor workmanship, we will arrange the collection, repair and return at no cost to the customer.

You must retain the original packaging if the machine will be shipped, or arrange your own delivery to the repair centre. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights and excludes expendable parts (such as needles, bulbs, bobbin cases, belts, needle threaders, etc.), normal wear and tear, negligence and misuse, as stated on the manufacturers guarantee document.

Faulty or Damaged Products

You have rights under the Sale of Goods Act for repair, replacement or refund of faulty goods. This applies to all goods but excludes accidental damage or faults arising from misuse or normal wear and tear. Please contact us and we will advise on the best way to deal with any products that are considered to be faulty.

Where items have arrived damaged, the customer must inform us about this within 72 hours from receipt of the goods. We strongly recommend checking your machine over fully upon arrival.

If the products are found to be faulty we will refund the cost of delivery back to us.

Cancellation & Returns

Under the United Kingdom’s consumer contract regulations you have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. In order to cancel the contract you must inform us in writing of your intent to return the goods within fourteen calendar days of the date that the goods are delivered. You must also return them at your expense in the condition that they were supplied, complete and in 'as new' condition.

For example, if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way or unreasonably damaging or marking the packaging. (If the product has been devalued a charge may be made to bring the item back to as new condition). Goods should be returned with the original box, packing and all accessories. Any free gifts received with the product must also be returned intact.
