This ex-designer fabric is a cotton chambray. Chambray is where the weft threads are one colour and the warp threads are another, traditionally in blue and white but can be found in other colours. It's lightweight with a lovely handle, and beautiful soft drape. Mostly opaque. Would be great for summer tops and dresses!
