This ex-designer trim is a pair of shoulder pads. They are made up of two layers of structured felt basted together, the edge surrounds a tall curved dense piece of wadding. It is quite a rigid supportive structure and would be great for achieving a dramatic silhouette or adding extra puff to puffed sleeves.
