This ex-designer fabric is a unique sateen. This Hawaiian-esque floral with blues, reds, pinks, greens, and oranges makes us long for the beach and palm trees!. The weave is a unique, floating crimped thread that form into eye-like lines on the weft, with a fine straight threads sandwiching them across this warp. It creates an interesting risen texture, and the threads have a sateen sheen for a lovely finish. It has a unique open weave that is mostly opaque with a good structure. Medium weight with a comfortable, plush handle. It would look great for home projects, full skirts, or in a blouse with statement puff sleeves!
