This ex-designer fabric is a silk charmeuse. Charmeuse is a satin weave cloth with a high shine front and dull but soft back. It's very soft and luxurious, usually made in silk. It has incredible liquid movement! Super lightweight and drapey. Such a luxurious silk handle, perfect for summer bias skirts, evening dresses, and lingerie!
