This ex-designer fabric is a cotton sateen. It's a lovely rich indigo and black marled colour. It has a waterproofing plastic backing, which also gives it an slight extra bit of structure and anti-slip movement. Light to medium weight with a crispy drape. Has a lovely sheen finish and is really quite thin, but opaque. Beautiful handle typical of a nice cotton on the topside. From top-quality mill and brand, Loro Piana. Perfect for jacketings and technical projects!
