This ex-designer fabric is a ramie. Ramie is a plant native to eastern Asia, from the nettle family. It's very eco-friendly and has a handle similar to linen and cotton combined. It's similar to organza but softer, with a structured handle, very lightweight and quite sheer. This fabric is cool and perfect for summer, as it is very breathable. Would love to see a lined Everyday Dress! It's also perfect for lining and staple pieces!
