PROJECT

If you've been thinking about learning to sew clothes then this is the workshop for you! In this one day class you'll sew a pair of elasticated trousers using our brand new Everyday Trousers pattern. This pattern is available in both a men's and women's style, so this class is for everyone. The trousers are very wearable with a mid-high rise and a slightly tapered leg. They work well in a variety of different fabrics and are the perfect garment to get a newbie sewist excited about making their own clothes!

The pattern is available in the following sizes: men's 28-42 inch waist and women's UK size 6-34. If you fall outside of this size bracket and would like to attend please get in touch.

WHAT WILL THIS COURSE COVER?

If you've got the hang of using your sewing machine and want to learn how to sew clothes this is the class for you! In the class you will use a paper pattern to sew a garment. You will learn:

+ How to cut your fabric and make all necessary markings
+ How to cut fabric pieces on the grain/bias

The skills learnt in this one day class will prepare you to tackle other sewing patterns at home.
