CLASS OVERVIEW

Save all of your precious knits by learning how to darn them! You'll learn how to skillfully repair your knitted items to keep them in your wardrobe for longer. This mending workshop will be focusing specifically on darning, which is a method used to mend holes in garments or textile pieces. The method works by interweaving yarns to reinforce your holes back to life.
Perfect for socks, jumpers, scarves and any holey knitted items you might have. Especially useful to do at this time of year as they've all had lots of wear over the winter months.

WHAT WILL THIS CLASS COVER?

Learn the traditional method of woven darning
+  How to start and finish off your mends
Learn about the different darning tools needed, needles and selecting the right yarns for your garment
+   Start on a holey item of your own and feel confident in continuing at home

This is a practical class and you will be working on samples throughout the class.
